Rare Vintage 1940s Harman Men’s WW2 Era Watch - Silver Bezel, AS 1187 Movement

Description: This is a great looking WW2 era men’s manual wind watch from Harman. The silver bezel suggests that the watch was probably made in the 1940s during the war. The 7 jewels, AS 1187 caliber movement was cleaned and oiled, and given a new mainspring and crystal; it runs strong and keeps time. I swapped out the crown with a new one, but some images still show the old one. The cosmetics are nice. The dial and hands look great. I didn’t want to buff up the case so I just wiped it with cleaner. You can buff it up as much as you like. Somewhere along the life of the watch it was given wire between the lugs. I don’t think it needs it, but decided to leave it that way. Also, the stem was broken but I had the original silver crown. I tried to get the remnant of the stem out of the crown but really didn’t have the proper tools, so I changed the crown and I am also including the silver crown in case the next owner wants to see if they can get it back on the watch. The inside of the watch also has a dust cover. The case is 30mm wide not counting the crown, and 36mm long including the lugs. See photos for more details.
