Description: This rare vintage Pyrex oval casserole dish with lid is a unique piece of mid-century modern cookware. Made in the United States in the 1940s, the dish features an elegant etched floral pattern on clear glass. With a capacity of 1 quart, it is perfect for serving and storing your favorite dishes. The dish is in good vintage condition, with some scratches from use and washing. Also the inside edge of dish has a few rough spots when you run your finger over it. Not sure if they are flea bites or roughness from the manufacturing process (or both - see photos). Nothing to prevent usage and lid fits well. The bottom of dish is embossed with "T.M. Reg. Pyrex U.S. Pat. Off." logo. This covered dish is a must-have for collectors of vintage cookware and will make a beautiful addition to your kitchen or collection.
