This original oil painting by the late Arizona artist Mac Schweitzer is an estate sale find from Woodland, CA (near Sacramento). Unfortunately I do not know the history of how this ended up in California. I believe the frame is original, although it really should be professionally re-set to be completely secure. I removed the cardboard backing to show the backside of the original board, which is painted yellow. The painting has a couple of faint scratches in the upper, right quadrant. Also there are quite a few small chips in the paint, both along the outer borders and within the main body of the painting (see photos). It could certainly use restoration, but it still displays nicely in its current condition. This would make an excellent addition to any cabin, den, office, vacation home, living space, ranch house, inn, etc! The wood frame measures approximately 23.5” x 18”, and the board itself measures approximately 22.5” x 16.75”. The frame has some minor blemishes and normal signs of wear, but overall is in solid shape. It will be shipped with extreme care via FedEx ground or home delivery. 24 detailed pictures provided.
