Description: For sale is this rare original c.1970's ABBA scarf. This scarf is believed to be a piece of original 70's ABBA merchandise. My researches suggest that scarves identical to this were sold on the 1979 ABBA European Tour. There are numerous pictures of ABBA fans wearing these scarves in the late 70's/Early 80's including at the taping of ABBA's final UK TV appearance on Noel Edmond's Late Late Breakfast Show on November 6th 1982 (see last picture). The scarf is made of a synthetic silk-like fabric. The size is approx 105cm x 13cm (plus fringe). Provenance: This scarf comes from a larger collection of original vintage ABBA items that I acquired, all from one fan and all dated from c.1978-83 comprising fan club items, posters, magazines, official merchandise and paper ephemera. I will be listing more of these in the coming weeks. Condition: The scarf is in overall very good condition. There are a few small stains (see pictures) commensurate with age. The scarf looks unused and seems to have been kept in its original polythene bag for the last four decades. Please look closely at the pictures if you are interested in buying this item.
