Description: This is a rare, silk, exquisite vintage dark green evening gown by Adele Simpson couture. The photos don’t do it justice. The measurements: Laying flat armpit to armpit is 18” across; the waist is 14” across and gathered with 6 faux jeweled buttons (very slimming) and the hips are 19” across. From the top of the shoulder to the bottom of the gown is 54”. Each arm cuff is a button covered in same silk fabric as dress with a loop closure. The back of the gown has a 21” hidden zipper with a hook/eye closure and a 17” slit in the back. It has shoulder pads which are loosely sewed in but can easily be removed. The gown is lined. This vintage gown was well taken care of and it comes from a smoke free home.
