I think it quite likely originates from 1968, given that the name of the organization featured here is not what became the final name. The Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine (PFLP) was founded in 1967 as a constituent organization of the Palestine Liberation Organization (PLO), and schismed the next year. The new organization eventually became known as the Democratic Front for the Liberation of Palestine (DFLP). As you can see here, at this point they were both democratic and popular (DPFLP). Features communist imagery: a hammer and sickle design with a machine gun and a red star. About 1.5" diameter. Given the lack of Arabic, I think that it was made with the Vietnam War era American anti-war protest movement in mind. With the strong support here for Palestinians in Gaza and the West Bank, now seems like the right time to release it back into the wild.
