Description: RARE Vintage Collector White Cat Plush Kitty Cat Radio Shack Batt am/fm radio 🐈 Purrrrrfeft for the cat enthusiast / lover.😳😬 Fluffy White cat stuffed animal / plush with internal-zippered Radio / speaker beneath, inside. This is a Vintage extremely RARE Radio Shack Portable AM/FM transistor Radio from Radio Shack. Vintage 80s? I installed a 9-volt battery to test him and the radio came in purrfectly. It was loud and clear and super cool. I was totally digging on it til, I went to remove the battery, and... the negative lead came out. 😟Apparently these are prone to this happening as I found most all of the others had the same issue with them as well. I don’t have a soldering gun or iron anymore, since I have neuropathy in my hands...or else I would’ve fixed it myself. I think even the soldering ‘glue’ may even work, since it’s just reattaching the lead under the cap of the connectors...but obviously I can’t guarantee any of this since it’s just my guessing, and therefore I’ve lowered the amount to compensate for this flaw (and any other of his shortcomings)😳 (He was NOT happy with me saying that). He also said to be sure I mentioned that he doesn’t need a stinking radio to make him cool...and I guess I agree, since who really listens to the radio anymore anyhow? I told him it was still a nice feature to have in case someone wanted to fix him. He just rolled his eyes at me in disagreement. Then kept turning his head so I couldn’t snap a good shot (obviously you can see which one he messed up- jerk.😡) Then had the audacity to tell me to make sure I got a ‘close up’ of his face (the next photos right after)🙄 Cats are the coolest ever and this guy is the prime example of “cool”...with his less than impressed looks and crazy moveable tail. You can virtually SEE his kitty koolness in his photos...his charisma comes right on through! He is quite the kitty and I found that when I was taking his pictures, he kept staring at me no matter what angle. He could use a good brushing, and maybe even a wipe down with a wash cloth since he is a bit dingy..but not filthy. He did agree with this saying, if only he could lick himself...he wouldn’t have to be embarrassed. He kept whipping his tail as I took his pics 😉and I caught it flinging in mid-air in one of the pics! He definitely was saying he’s ready for a new, happy home...where I won’t be around to bug him. These are collector items as Radio Shack had only put them out for a brief while and they are increasingly getting more difficult to find. I do so love this kitty- everything about him; face and pose...and if I didn’t absolutely need the money...I’d soooo surely keep him, since he is super amazing. Yeah, he may have a bit of an attitude, but that’s what makes him the ‘typically kitty’... And in addition to being VERY photogenic...he loves to be taken places, lie on your bed to sleep while waiting for you...and especially to be pet. But the very best thing about him is, he’s super cute, and will never attack you if you pet him at the wrong time, or wrong place on him 👌☺️❤️ Have a great New Year!
