Description: Rare vintage "D-150 All-Purpose Curvulon For Conventional 70mm Projection" lens. Measures approx. 6-5/8" long and weighs about 4 lbs. 3 oz. Made in Hollywood, USA. CONDITION: Lightly used condition. One side of the lens has some iridescent smudges (see image #7-8), so that end could use a bit of a cleaning. A bit about this lens from Dick Vetter, who helped create this type of lens back in the early 60's....."The D-150 Super Curvulon lens attachment was a basic design that I conceived and submitted to Kollmorgen Corp. in 1964 and that company was commissioned by D-150 to perform the final design and fabricate prototypes. Lead man at Kollmorgen was Glenn Berggren.
