Description: For sale here is a wonderful vintage DOUBLE MECHANISM Reuge Swiss music box in nice condition. Both music mechanisms work perfectly. One plays the theme from "Love Story," but I cannot identify the title of the other mechanism even though it sounds familiar. The footed box measures 5 1/4" x 3 1/2," and it is about 2 1/4" tall. The glass is in perfect condition, and the wooden box is also in nice shape. There is only a tiny scratch on the top that a little wood dye could minimize. This box probably dates to the 1970's based on the music selections. It would make a great addition to any music box collection as these small, double-mechanism boxes are quite rare. I have liquidated estates for over 40 years.
