Description: ***RARE*** VINTAGE 1950s MID CENTURY SARONG WATTEAU HAWAIIAN NOVELTY DRESS FROM LURLINE CASUALS OF WAIKIKIUp for auction is this spectacular vintage 1950s mid century sarong watteau Hawaiian novelty dress from Lurline Causals of Waikiki. Just look at the pictures and see how beautiful this dress is. This dress is made of a soft seafoam colored fabric that feels like a silk cotton blend. This novelty dress features flowers and tiki torches. This dress has a sarong design with a front overlay that ties at the left waist. This dress also features a detachable watteau that can be worn in a variety of ways or not at all. As you can see in the pictures this stylish watteau is reversible. . . . with small flowers and tiki torches on one side and larger flowers and tiki torches on the other side. This watteau can be positioned in several ways or fed through the sarong tie on the left hip creating about 15 different looks!!!! The sides of the bodice have lightly elasticized ruffled ruched for a comfortable fit. These ruffled ruched sides allow the bust and waist to expand. The bust has an inside fabric lining and sewn in supports. This dress has a zipper closure in the back. As the pictures demonstrate this dress is in excellent vintage condition and ready to wear!!!!!!
