Description: This is a rare autographed advertising handbill (flyer) promoting the two-week, Post-Broadway engagement of the NANCY HAMILTON and MORGAN LEWIS musical revue "THREE TO MAKE READY" at the Colonial Theatre in Boston, Massachusetts beginning June 2nd, 1947. (The production opened March 7th, 1946 at the Broadhurst Theatre in New York City and ran for 327 performances before going on the road.) ..... This was the final revue in a trilogy that included "One For The Money" and "Two For The Show". The musical starred RAY BOLGER (who signed the front side of the handbill) and featured BRENDA FORBES, ROSE INGHRAM, BIBI OSTERWALD, KAYE BALLARD, JACK McCAULEY, JOAN MANN, ALTHEA ELDER, BILLY SKIPPER and GORDON MacRAE ..... This single page, two-sided handbill measures 6" X 9" inches and includes production credits and RAY BOLGER's autograph on the front and a photo of RAY BOLGER and excerpts from several reviews on the backside ..... CONDITION: With the exception of a tiny tear in the bottom edge and light creasing, this rare handbill is in excellent condition and will make a wonderful addition to the collection of any musical theatre aficionado or historian. This item will be carefully packaged in a protective, carded sleeve and backed by stiff cardboard.
