Description: Original old 1927 advertising doll RCA. This is a circa 1927 RCA Radiotron advertising doll. It measures 15" in length. It is a segmented doll constructed of wood and composition. The doll was made by the Cameo Doll Company, New York City, and designed by Joe Kallus, who used a design created by Maxfield Parish called "The Selling Fool". The doll features a hat styled like a radio tube of the late 1920's. The face, hair and tunic are made of composition material while the hat, body and legs are made of brightly painted wood. The paint is original and in decent shape for being almost 100 years old. The cuts in the hands are for holding cards that would tell of specials or prices on a radio positioned near the doll. Please judge from the pictures as we do not offer returns on items that are this old. Please ask questions before purchasing. This doll is sold as-is with no returns.
