Description: Vintage Realistic STA-2100D "Monster" Receiver. Complete recap of Power supply and both amplifiers. High quality capacitors installed and many transistors and diodes replaced. Wood case was redone, fresh walnut veneer. Old speaker connectors were replaced with gold plated banana connectors. New meter and dial lights, warm white. Great condition overall.. see photos for flaws which are a few scratches on the top of aluminum trim, silkscreen above power button, preamp plug in back is deformed. Has been broken in and bias and offset dialed in again. Sounds fantastic with strong bass. Sounded good with a variety of speakers, especially large ones. HEAVY! Local pickup , Chicago area.
