Red Aves 4 3/4" dish, 1962 mark, gold trim, Royal Crown Derby bone china

Description: This Red Aves bone china dish is 4 & 3/4 inches in diameter, smaller than other older pieces of this pattern that I see online so I'm not quite sure how it was intended to be used. Perhaps it's a trinket dish or an underplate for another item. It was made in England by Royal Crown Derby and the "XXV" back mark dates it to 1962. The gilt trim is in excellent condition and there are no cracks, chips or fleabites. It rings clearly when tapped with a finger. I do note a few light scratches from use but nothing unsightly. This Red Aves dish will be very carefully packed to ensure that it travels safely and the package will weigh about 6 ounces.
