Description: Red Wing “Lute Song” Mid-century modern True China. I recently purchased an entire set, and will be offering the pieces listed below. Pattern features brown and / or aqua Japanese lutes on a brown speckled cream background, with pale aqua Japanese or Chinese writing characters. Applied handles. Hand-painted. Pattern was produced 1958 – 1959. Discontinued. Not all pieces are hallmarked - those denoted by asterisk (*) have printed hallmark “Red Wing U.S.A. ~ True China ~ Hand painted”. No chips, flakes, breaks, mends, repairs, cracks, hairlines, blemishes, or mentionable boo-boo's. Don't feel anything amiss when I run finger around edges.
