This barrette is made of shiny red acrylic with bright gold tone metal and has a gold tone metal securing clip. The barrette is slightly curved and has tapered ends. This barrette measures approximately 2 & 1/2" long x 1/2" wide. The metal clip opens, closes and locks appropriately. Conditional issues are mainly to the back of the piece with discolorations and surface abrasions. The front bears light surface scratches and light metal wear. The barrette dates back to the 1970s and has been used and loved quite a bit in it's lifetime.
