They are pressed from vintage molds and then ground, painted, and painstakingly detailed by hand. The paint is permanent high-temperature fired enamel. This is a fabulous and beautiful button --- the mold features a lot of fine detail and gives it a dramatic look. They have a wonderful 3-D quality. Each measures approx. 36mm (1 3/8") wide and has a glass shank. These are transparent ruby red glass. Truly a jewel of a button! Each is painted on top with a GORGEOUS shining 'Carnival' AB blue/gold metallic enamel finish. They make wonderful embellishments to clothes, knits, hats, crafts, and can even be used in jewelry making!! We specialize in limited edition Czech buttons.
