Description: This gorgeous dress was made I believe from organza as it is very sheer and has a very light sheen. It was embroidered over the bodice and the bottom 13" of the skirt with flowers and leaves. It has a little net lace pigeon breast trimmed in scalloped val lace with matching sleeve ruffles. It fastens down one side of the breast, over 3" and down again with lots of snaps and one hook and eye. The back of the collar has a somewhat sailor effect so perhaps the dress is Edwardian. This dress is in incredible shape! I have looked carefully and can find hardly any damage whatsoever, not even under-arm stains, only a couple of tiny brown spots and a small hole in the back neck under the collar.
