Description: Large antique solid GLOBE oak document filing case. Measures 6 3/4" " wide x 12 14" long x 5" tall. Inside of drawer measures 5 1/8" wide x 11 1/4" long x 3 1/2" tall. Outer box constructed of 1/2" thick solid oak and joined using lap joints. Refinished with several coats of MinWax Satin Varnish and hand polished to a soft luster with 0000 steel wool and paste wax. Hardware is original. Card holder in good operating order. Manufacturer has stamped "GLOBE" on the sliding card holder. Rubber feet added to protect surfaces and improve handling.
