Description: A magnificent antique original Victorian 1890's ballgown. The fabric has a muted pink floral pattern on a white background. The neckline has pearl beading. The bodice and skirt front are decorated with wide bands of lace. The sleeves have tabs that are edged in blue silk and trimmed with silver sequins. The bodice has back tails that are decorated in the same manner. The bodice is partly lined with cotton around the waistline. The bodice and skirt were once lined with silk but this has been remover. The dress is in very good and sturdy condition. There are two tiny splits under one arm and some small area of very light underarm discoloration, the rest is just shadows created by the camera flash.. The skirt waistband has been replaced with elastic. There is a small amount of loss to the blue edge trim on the bodice. None of the flaws are major and do not distract from the overall beauty of the ballgown. Shoulders 14 Bust 36 Waist 30 Front length on skirt 40 Back length 49. Buyer pays shipping.
