Description: For auction a Remington model 700 bolt-action rifle barrel. .30-06 Springfield caliber. 21" Factory tapered barrel. Gloss blued finish. Factory pre-drilled for sights (not included), but has filler screws. Left side of barrel shows small stamp 'REMINGTON ARMS CO. INC. ILION, N.Y. MADE IN U.S.A.' with cailber '30-06 SPRG.' A date code of 'KA 71' is stamped on the same side. Not sure on date code but may equate to a manufacturing date of 5-1980. Barrel is in great functioning condition. Bluing shows typical handling and usage wear. Thin spots in the bluing are present on underside of barrel. Bore is bright and shiny. Great barrel threads. Barrel would make a nice replacement.
