Description: This is a new Remington 700 Short action M40 style rifle gun stock. The stock is made out of premium grade American black walnut and is semi-finished and will require final fit and finish. The stock has been wiped down with mineral spirits to show the nice grain flow. The distance between screw holes is 6 1/2 inches. The barrel channel is cut for varmint barrel but can be opened up for heavy bull barrels. The stock has the original style safety bump. The stock will work for M40, M24, Varmint, Sendero and police rifles. Please look at the pictures carefully. Check out my other items!
