Description: This is a Model 783 Short Action magazine intended for use with .308 Win, .243, and 7mm-08 cartridges. I purchased a number of these from Remington as they were winding up their operation in Huntsville. Some may have a mottled black oxide coating or possibly a spot of rust starting on the latch spring at the front. Other than a potential cosmetic blemish they are are dimensionally and functionally perfect. If you need an extra magazine or two I don't think that you'll find a better price.
