The name of the designer is engraved in the bottom of each sculpture and it is produced in Cores da Terra, the studio of Selma Calheira in Brazil, which has become extremely well known for developing and educating local artisans, as well as for its direct contribution to the economic and cultural development of one of the poorest areas in Brazil. Renaat Ramon is a Belgian poet, essayist and sculptor, based in the beautiful city of Bruges. He is primarily known for his monumental sculptures, constructivist installations, jewelry and furniture design and architectural projects. Although Ramon, as a sculptor, is an adept of constructivism and geometric abstraction, his an admirer of the 'noble simplicity and quiet grandeur" of classical art.
