Renaissance Medieval Steampunk Victorian 100% Cotton Maxi Skirt Costume Adjusts

Description: For consideration is a lovely, handmade casual, peasant skirt. Shown in some pics with a chemise but sale is for the skirt only & does not include the chemise. This skirt is a 100% cotton blue swirl print with an elastic draw waist. Shade of blue is more of a denim blue with navy and not as bright as it appears in some pics but not as gray as it appears in the close-up of the print. It is made shorter for the working peasant woman. The 1"-wide waist band has a 3/4" black elastic through it that you can tie off or tack to your fit at the side inside seam. Includes a navy-blue gross grain ribbon to loop onto the skirt for a pull up of a front side (see pics) as would be commonly done by women to keep their outskirt clean from the dirt & street filth of the times. Ribbon has been treated with a fray block on the cut edges. Seams are selvage edges so there are no fraying issues. Waistband top is outer stitched for a quality look. The hem line is double machine rolled. Can't be made longer unless you want a lace or ruffle added for an additional fee. (I can machine rehem to your length for you for no additional fee, just let me know your desired length at time of purchase). Please see the sweep measurements for actual fullness. The size is adjustable from a small up to a 60" waist. This skirt is a unique, one-of-a kind, handmade piece; no one else will be wearing the same skirt to whatever event you attend.
