Description: Rene Gruau (1910 – 2005, French/Italian) “Le Parasol” (1990) Limited-edition, hand-signed color lithograph features the back of a woman strolling on the beach carrying a small umbrella (or parasol). The sheet measures 27 x 20 inches and has been mounted on a mint color background surrounded by silver metal fillet and off-white matting. The white wooden frame with gilt accents is approximately 3 inches wide and the entire work of art measures 38.5 x 31.5 inches. The lithograph was published by Circle Fine Art and printed on Arches Paper. It is signed in the lower right, the number (135/300) and blind stamp are in the lower left, and the label on the verso reads ‘Circle Fine Art Corporation.’ Note: the piece is loose in the frame; not examined out of the frame.
