The plastic lenses may be too thin for the frame that was designed to hold thicker glass. They could rattle around in your frames. If you previously had plastic lenses, do not try to replace with glass, as they may not fit and you could break the glass trying to squeeze them into a thinner grooved frame. This isn't always the case with switching lens materials BUT if they don't fit your frames properly, I DO NOT ACCEPT RETURNS so it's at your risk to buy a different lens material than what you currently have in your frames. 2} Costa Del Mar glass lenses have "580" etched in the lens corner Costa Del Mar polycarbonate plastic lenses have "580P" etched in the lens corner 3} ALL COSTA DEL MAR LENSES ARE POLARIZED WITH BACKSIDE ANTIGLARE COATING WITH 100% UV PROTECTION. PLEASE RESEARCH THE IMPORTANCE OF NOT WEARING CHEAP SUNGLASS LENSES. THEIR SPRAY ON "UV PROTECTION" COMES OFF AND THUS WILL CAUSE MORE HARM TO YOUR DILATED EYES. SOME THINGS ARE OK TO GO CHEAP ON - NOT YOUR SUNGLASSES & EYE PROTECTION!! 4}Costa Green mirror lenses only come on COPPER polarized lens base Costa Blue mirror lenses only come on GREY polarized lens base Costa Silver mirror is put on either Grey or Copper base - it will be described which base color the lenses are in the listing. PLEASE BE AWARE OF THIS: LENS COLOR IS NOT "GREEN", "BLUE" OR "SILVER" - THE MIRROR COATING IS GREEN, BLUE OR SILVER. YOU WILL SEE THINGS DIFFERENTLY THROUGH COPPER VS GREY BASED LENSES. **Visit Costa Del Mar website for more information before purchasing from me, OR go try them on at any Costa retailer if you are changing the color you currently have. **Costa recommends certain lens colors/mirrors for different activities or daily wear. 5} Yes, all of my lenses are "OEM" / "GENUINE" / "AUTHENTIC" / "BRANDED"/ "REAL" - whichever word you prefer. They come direct from the company that manufactures them. I have a variety of quality branded lenses for sale when you just need to replace scratched or cracked lenses without having to purchase a whole new pair, potentially saving you hundreds of dollars while keeping the integrity of your brand name sunglasses. I will not post photographs of each set of lenses, please refer to Costa's website to see how the lenses look if you aren't replacing exactly what you currently have -- or again, I strongly suggest you go visit a retailer to try them on to see how you see through the different lens base colors. 6}Any optical store should be willing to help you out if you are not confident in removing old lenses and installing new, of course, at your own risk. 7} Costa Del Mar changed owner hands years ago - so the model number/codes are different from when Costa owned Costa vs. now - Luxottica owns Costa. If the information I have on the listing doesn't match the info printed on your frame - please send me photos of the inside of both temples and I will try to help out as much as I can to help you get the correct replacement lenses. ** PLEASE ALSO NOTE THAT 'PRO' VERSIONS OF A MODEL DO NOT FIT THE ORIGINAL VERSION OF THAT SAME MODEL 8}I make mistakes, rarely, but it happens ;) But really, don't be mean - I will make it right or refund your money for MY mistakes.
