The jar has an applied flat handle and detachable lid, decorated with figural flower finial. On the front of the body, there is an engraved curly script monogram "EK"; Inside, there is a glass liner. The jar bears Baltimore Assay mark - 11 oz, that stands for .917 silver. It comes with a sterling silver jam spoon in the Rose pattern, made by Stieff company. The spoon has no monograms. This splendid jar is 3 1/4" tall and 3 3/4" wide across the handle and the body, silver weight is 147.7 grams or 4.76 ozs Troy. The spoon is 5 3/4" long.The excellent original condition and clear, crisp detail, with no removals, repairs or alterations, make this an especially attractive offering.
