Description: A reproduction stir-and-taste spoon produced by The Metropolitan Museum of Modern Art in cooperation with the Shelburne Museum. It is a reproduction of a late 18th century-early 19th-century American utensil. Made of silver-plated brass and marked ‘1993 MMA-SMI’ to the handle. The handle of this kitchen utensil has a large spoon at one end, a smaller one at the other end, and a hole in the middle for hanging. It measures just over 12" long.
