Description: A lovely handmade victorian coatume. Looks to be late 1860s. Listing is for bodice and skirt only, does not include crinoline, pettipcats, or corset. The bodice outer is a red cross bar silk trimmed with velvet ribbon. The bodice lining is a homesupun cotton. There are decorative buttons on the slave and a pretty trim. A decorational bow made of velevt is loosely tacked on. The skirt is the same red crossbar silk and lined in a plain weave cotton. There is a bit of lace fabric st the front pannel for decoration. There is a train. Due to the material, this costume is not washable.
