Finish both halves, assemble the wheels, sandwiching the tire between both pieces, then slide the completed wheel right over the spindle. Minimal prep work is required before finishing-- usually just a final soapy water wash, followed by a clean water rinse to ensure any dust is fully removed and the surface is completely clean.The last two images show the wheel parts resting inside the Atlantis front tire mentioned above, and are shown for reference only-- no tires are included.
