Description: Gorgeous Antique Chandelier Beautiful restored antique condition! From a large antique lighting collection - see & watch our store for more. A true antique from the turn of the century when full-electric lighting was becoming more common. The glass shades are gorgeous, with no chips or cracks - a possible flea bite here or there, but nothing we noticed when taking the photos. They have lovely floral details and feminine, ribbed shape that curves in a bit at the end. **If you prefer a different style or color of antique glass shade, send us a message with your preference. We may have something in our stock that is set aside for our restoration projects.** The brass has been polished & lacquered to protect its shine, the wiring is updated & new sockets have been installed in the original brass socket covers. All the beautiful ornate detail looks amazing with no cracks in the brass. A tiny ding and some small marks and dark areas in the brass, but nothing notable. This was a hand-produced piece, so the brass arms are not all exactly the same height and curvature, but the difference is negligible. The photos show the chandelier from a few angles to give you an idea of the slight differences. :) Use 4 standard-base light bulbs up to 60 watts or LED bulbs for any brightness you like, as they use low wattage for bright light. The 40 watt bulbs shown ARE INCLUDED, however they are not brand new bulbs so we can't say how much life is left in them - they'll get you started! Markings: PJ Inc or JP Inc brass socket covers with new sockets inside, and the UNO shade holders are stamped with a patent date of Dec 24 12 (which is 1912). ~ For your planning purposes, eBay requires a signature for items of this value ~~ You are also welcome to pick up the chandelier in Bristol, VA 24202 ~ This beautiful antique is from a large antique lighting collection in Fenton, Michigan - see and watch our store for more from this fantastic collection.
