Restored & Refinished Antique Glove-Wernicke Co. Solid Tiger Oak Card File Box

Description: Beautifully restored solid tiger oak document/card storage box. Made by the Globe-Wernickie Company. Dimensions are 14" long x 6 3/4" wide x 5 1/2" tall. Inside measures 6 1/8" wide x 13 1/8" deep x 4 5/8" tall. The box is constructed of 5/16" thick oak and uses finger joints for strength. Original metal hinges, dual lid supports and card holder are in good working order. Box was restored with several coats of MinWax Satin Varnish and polished with 0000 steel wool and paste-wax to a soft luster. Part gf original label on the inside. Excellent condition. All joints are solid. No cracks, scratches or splits in the wood. Black green and rubber feet added to protect your furniture and improve handling. Shipping weight 5 lbs. Very Fast Handling!
