Description: Beautifully restored solid maple student pencil/pen box. Dimensions are 7 5/8" long x 2 1/2" wide x 1 1/2" tall. Inside has three compartments: largest 7 1/8" long x 7/8" deep x 1 1/4" tall; second is 4 1/4" long; third is 2 3/4" long. Constructed of 1/4" thick maple and assembled using the barefaced housing joint. Box was restored with several coats of MinWax Satin Varnish and hand polished with 0000 steel wool and paste-wax to a soft luster. Excellent condition. No cracks, scratches or splits in the wood. New green felt lining, original brass hinges. Includes wood ruler. Lock does not work. Very Fast Handling! Ships day after payment is received.
