Description: Beautiful vintage solid oak index card filing box. The box measures 10 1/8" long x 8 3/4" wide x 6 5/8" tall. Inside is 9 3/8" long x 8 1/8" deep x 5 3/4" tall. The box is constructed of 3/16" thick oak and uses fingerjoints for strength. Hinges and lid support in good working condition. Refinished with several coats of MinWax Satin Varnish and hand-polished with 0000 steel wool and paste-wax to a soft luster. Excellent condition. All joints are solid. No cracks, scratches or splits in the wood. Fully lined with new red felt. Rubber protect bottom and improve handling. Shipping weight 5 pounds. Very Fast Handling!
