This Crest ModelThis first year Crest was introduced by Sheaffer in 1937 and sold for $13.75. It is the larger of two versions, the other referred to now as a ladies' model. Most of these first year Crests had the usual chased line pattern, but for those who might want to add an engraving Sheaffer made a few with the cartouche pattern on the back of the cap. I have seen just a few of these.
