Description: Up for sale is a copy of Revue Technique De L'Exposition Universelle de 1889" This is Alas des 4 and 5 parties (Or parts 4 and 5) It was published by E. Bernard in Paris in 1893. It is a large folio like book with great plates. Plates are of a range of things, everything from train cars to telegraph machines. Plates appear all to be present. Book is divided into three parts. Part one consists of plates 1 -56 and is comprised of plates related to Mines Et Metallurgie. Part 2 goes 1 to 47 and is comprised on plates related to Chemins De Fer (Signaux) and part three plates 1 to 100 and are "Voie et Material roulant". There is no text outside of the plates and information/illustration on the plates. Some are folded pieces that are much larger than just one or two sheets. Book measures approximately 16 x 12 inches. Book is in decent overall condition with most of the issues being to the board which has heavy wear, some staining, discoloration and is missing its spine. Boards are Acceptable condition. The interior is in generally nice shape with browning to pages but plates are , outside of browning are in good condition with just some dings here and there and a couple chips along the edges. There is a purple stamp from what I assume is a previous owner which was "Compagnie Francaise Le TramWays " L.D. Mercier Chef du Dupot. It looks like this was from Saigon and then a word I can make out. Interior is Good + condition. Please email with questions and seem y store for other great items.
