REWIRED Antique Victorian Converted Gas Chandelier Gasolier Arts & Crafts Deco

Description: Gorgeous Antique Hanging Lamp Lovely condition! Freshly wired, new sockets installed and working well. The gas cocks (keys/knobs) match with Faries No 1500 in catalog 13, so we believe this to be a Faries lamp. A true antique gas lamp, converted to electric. The antique glass shades are gorgeous, with no chips or cracks.The sockets and shade holders are brass. The chandelier is made of brass or copper (it is non-magnetic metal) and has a copper color painted finish with antiquing to bring out the details. The finish has some rubs, feather scratches and marks here and there from being moved around on display, however these will not be noticed when installed (see closeups). Use three standard-base light bulbs up to 60 watts each, or use LED bulbs for any brightness you like, as they use low wattage for bright light. As you can see, we used short-stature bulbs so they didn't peek over the top much - that's up to you. Light bulbs not included. Here are details about the restorer: The late Bob Daly was a marathon runner and worked in his family's burglar alarm business until he started his own antique lighting restoration business in Fenton, Michigan in the 1980's: "Historic Lighting Restoration Services and Sales". He was restoring antique lighting for almost 40 years. This beautiful light was thoughtfully and skillfully restored by Bob. From new wiring to cleaning to touching up, buffing and polishing, Bob was a master at the details. He loved what he did and was excited to share these restored works of art with the next generation (see a newspaper article picture of him in photo #24). He worked with loving care, and you can be proud to own one of his restorative works of art.
