Description: This book is in remarkably good shape for being over 100 years old. Binding is pretty good! There is some separation in spots but still feels quite sturdy, no loose pages, all still fully connected. Marks only on the first page. No tears. Some general grime. Make sure you look through all the pics to get a good idea of condition. The Art Nouveau illustrations in this are GORGEOUS. What a treat to see illustrations from a working woman illustrator from the early 1900s. The illustrations are by Hazel Frazee, an American illustrator who had ties to Chicago. There's not a ton of info online about her, but she was obviously a great draftsperson and made beautiful work. Check out my other sales for more (and more recent) nostalgia reads!
