Description: Offered is this lovely Richard Ginori Contessa cup and saucer in Rust Red. These fine porcelain china pieces were made in Italy in the late 20th century. The pattern is now retired. Rust Red glaze decorates the outside of the cup and the top side of the saucer. A gold “snowflake” appears inside a white circle in the center of the saucer. There is no well inside the saucer so it resembles a small shallow bowl. Smooth white blank with angular handle. Gold trim decorates the handle, rims and base. Thin black lines appear above and below the rust red glaze on the cup. The thin black lines encircle the saucer and the round white circle. The cup stands about 2 1/8 inches tall (5.5 cm) and measures 3 inches in diameter (7.5 cm). The saucer or underplate measures 5.25 inches in diameter (13.5 cm). Very good used condition with no chips, cracks or other damage. Gold trim in excellent condition. Domestic shipping is free. The item will be insured. Questions welcomed. Thanks for looking. Sorry. No returns. All items are sold “as is.”
