Description: This is a rare May 15th, 1903 program (playbill) from the two-night, Post-Broadway engagement of the WILLIAM SHAKESPEARE classic "JULIUS CAESAR" at the Star Theatre in Buffalo, New York. (The production opened December 1st, 1902 at the Herald Square Theatre in New York City and played fifty performances before going on the road.) ..... The play starred RICHARD MANSFIELD as "Marcus Brutus" and featured ARTHUR GREENWAY as "Julius Caesar", ARTHUR FORREST as "Marc Antony" and DOROTHY HAMMOND as "Portia" (in what had been her Broadway debut).
