Description: This auction is for (4) 4oz bottles ( 16 oz total) of Mobil SHC636 worm drive oil. This is the only type of oil approved by RIDGID for use in their worm drive saws. This is not offered by the manufacturer in any reasonable sized quantity suitable for a consumer with a saw or two(standard sizes are multi gallon pails or 55 gallon drums) which is why I'm posting this auction. This auction is for 16oz of oil. This quantity is good for several gear box flushes and will last a very long time if you are maintaining a single saw or two. This is repackaged from a bulk container shown in the second picture (for reference only - the auction is for 16oz of oil in (4) 4 oz bottles - not the barrel). The 4oz dispensing container is leak tight, drip free and makes it extremely easy to dispense exactly the right amount of oil exactly where you want it. Please see 3rd picture for info from the manual relating to maintenance. Note to new saw owners - per the manual - flushing the oil after the first 10 hrs of operation will extend the working life of the saw as metal particles from the gears breaking in will be removed. Mobil SHC 636 is an excellent choice for extreme gear and bearing applications requiring ISO VG 680 oils.
