ITEM DETAILS: * This is a Robert E Kennedy, limited edition, pen & ink sketching, titled Sloppy Joe's Bar, numbered (204/500) and signed by the artist in pencil. 1980 * This is a great rendition of everybody's favorite Duval Street drinking establishment. It's also known as a favorite drinking establishment of Ernest Hemingway. * I’ve included a picture of Kennedy sketching one similar in 1976, from a different angle. How FUN! DIMENSIONS: * Frame: 23.5 inches wide X 19 inch tall, about 1.5 inches deep. * Sketching: Approximately 16 inches wide by 11.5 inches tall. SKETCH DETAILS: * The details are crisp and amazing. Down to the Hemingway picture hanging in the background. * Left side bottom reads: Sloppy Joe’s Bar and is numbered 204/500 in pencil. * Right side bottom reads: Robert E Kennedy’s signature followed by 80. I’m assuming this is represents 1980 * The sketch paper is an off white color, and textured. * I included a side by side picture of Kennedy in the 80’s/ and Kennedy now- found online-credit to The Provincetown Banner Newspaper. No copyright infringement is intended. Just sharing great information about Kennedy's inspiration and life. FRAME DETAILS: * Professionally framed in a gorgeous, wooden, distressed white washed Florida blue/grey color. * Very small corner nick upper right/left. Tiny but wanted to mention. * Sketch is double matted, bright white with black/navy inlay. * Glass is in excellent condition. * The backing is Kraft paper and has wire attached with eyelet. Ready to be hung in you space. No rips or tears, but a small whiteish circle (see pics) * Overall...EXCELLENT condition!
