Description: Purchased from the legendary Lahaina Gallery in 1990, this signed and numbered lithograph print by famed Oceanographic Artist Robert Lyn Nelson is a tour de force of the medium and subject matter. Entitled “New Horizon” it depicts an evolution of his “Two Worlds” theme begun in 1979. It features a colorful and playful depiction of the Hawaiian Sea, Coastline and Sky at sunset. Numbered 269 of 400 and dated 1988, the print is in excellent condition as it has been in storage for almost 30 years and kept away from any daylight so that the colors are bright and distinctive. The color image measures 22.5” X 29.75”, with an overall framed size of 27.5” X 36”. There is minor foxing on the white borders commensurate with age. See photo #8. In original gallery frame.
