Description: Rockford Fosgate The Punch Classic 10in subwoofer, SVC 4ohm 150w RMS 300w Peak, frequency response 38hz-1500hz. Brand new, never opened with factory tape intact. Subwoofer has been stored in climate controlled storage unit for 26 years, and 3 years in my closet. This will be shipped inside a box with excessive padding to preserve original packaging. This is more a collectors item. It is a Fantastic speaker, quality sound, but are so rare, especially in new unopened box condition, that it’d be almost a shame to open and use. You WILL get a better subwoofer for a cheaper price going for something like the RF P3. This is for the audiophile, the collector, or the investor. This nostalgic speaker was made in 1994, and is very rare to find on the market now days. So rare in fact I guarantee you will be unable to find a single new The Punch Classic PCH-410 for sale anywhere, and maybe never see one with an unopened box. But, now that it is 30 years old, it’s only going to get more rare and worth more money. If I’ve read this right, Rockford Fosgate had changed the Punch line in the early 90’s, resulting in a lower quality speaker. But they briefly released this “classic” model that is Identical to the original, better quality Punch line. This speaker has fantastic sound quality and is known for its crisp clean sound, able to catch note’s quickly not falling behind. It is not known for its bass, like the current RF P3. If you are looking for a subwoofer to significantly improve the audio quality of your system, to hear what the song artists designed for you to hear, then this is for you. But if you are looking for a back massage, this is not for you, go for the P3. If you are looking for both, quality and back massage, go for a T1.
