And the could easily be mistaken for new shoes by an onlooker. Close examination reveals that all surfaces are very clean, quite the same as new, and with no flaws or blemishes. There are some very minor bend creases/wrinkles in the front halves as would be expected from light use. Indeed these shoes were only worn out once or twice under clean conditions (no rain and no walking on soil). The insides are virtually the same as new and the wear on the bottoms should only be regarded as mid-level friction. Overall these shoes are about 97-99% the same as new in this seller's opinion. They do not have the new price and are thus a great value. The leather uppers are true black in color. The style is that of oxfords without the laces-these examples are the pull-on variety. Some people would say that without laces it makes them loafers. But again, the appearance more closely resembles that of oxfords. What separates these shoes from typical oxfords or loafers is their weight. These examples are very lightweight and a refreshing change from the typical heaviness encountered with this style.
