Description: Here's a fantastic Autographed Color photograph, measuring 8" X 10" inches of the late, great, Roman Gabriel. This sharp in game photo was taken during the 1974 season, which was the first year of the then, new, Kelly-Green uniforms and helmets. Roman won the comeback player of the year in 1973 and lead the league with 3,129 yards passing and with 23 touchdowns. He came in fourth in the MVP voting. This unique photo was autographed by Roman at a sports show in Oaks PA. In 2009 which I witnessed. I'm including the last three photographs to show myself, and my friend, with Roman at the show in 2009. It really was a pleasure to meet one of my boyhood idols, and he was every bit the gentleman and all-around great guy I had hoped he would be. I love the big smile on his face, as we spent some time together, and he enjoyed my company as much as I enjoyed his I'd like to think. I wish he would have made the HOF while he was alive.It's very sad that he did not. His stats are better than some HOF QBs, and I know that was something he had hoped would happen during his lifetime.
