Description: I recently acquired the Royal .40 R/C Engine isn a group lot purchase of engines. This engine wasn't stuck and just needed a little oil to free up and evaluate. The original Royal carburetor was also free turning. The muffler was loose in the batch of engines that matched on hole and exhaust opening alignments but the screws that fit the engine would not fit through on muffler ears. I drilled out the muffler ear mounts slightly to get the bolts to work and it's all good to go. Nice engine! This engine has strong compression and feels smooth on the bearings and has very low to no slop and play in the internal mating surfaces (I.e. crank pin/piston rod/wrist pin) or crank end play.
