A B Jones & Sons was a leading bone china manufacturing name from the 1800's was a family business passed down thru generations. Royal Grafton was the trade mark name for A B Jones & Sons. Sold in 1966 to Crown House Glass LTD and later sold to Crown Lynn Potters LTD of New Zealand. Do not know the history or age of the ginger jar, research did not find another one like this or another ginger jar, so calling it rare.
