Description: This is a 9 1/4" serving bowl from Royal Joci by Salem in the WHEAT pattern. This pattern features 23K gold wheat outlined in black against an ivory background. Salem produced Royal Joci WHEAT from 1960-1967. No cracks or chips. No stains. No flaws on the wheat design. This piece definitely has crazing but no stains below the crazing. Vintage Salem pieces often have crazing perhaps due to whatever type of glaze used. Because of the crazing the bowl is best used as a display piece but also the condition of the gold wheat is SO GOOD that it'd be crazy to damage it with serving utensils! Wheat and harvest themes were super popular in the 1960's and make a great addition to retro styled decor.
